Day 4
Write a paragraph comparing the rap to the textbook
Both the rap and the text book are used to inform us about Rome. Although they are on the same subject, there are many similarities and differences. One difference that I noticed right away was how the book talks about how conquering Italy got them off their feet and going. The rap didn't mention this event. One similarity is that they both have all the main events. The rap has all the important facts but lacks some of the detail that the book has. For me, I like to use the combination of the rap and text book to better understand Rome. The rap gives the general idea of what happened and then when there was something I didn't understand or wanted to know more about, I could go the the chapter in the book to gather the information that I need.
